During our trip through China, a visit to EcoFlow was, of course, a must. In Shenzhen, we were welcomed at the brand’s headquarters, with which Off Grid Power Station has been working closely for many years now.
EcoFlow holds special significance for us. In 2021, it was one of the first brands we partnered with. At that time, the portable energy storage market was still in the relatively early stages of the tremendous growth we’ve seen in recent years.
A lot has changed since then. Both Off Grid Power Station and EcoFlow have grown, and the energy storage market has evolved rapidly.
From portable power stations to comprehensive energy solutions
When we launched EcoFlow in 2021, the brand was best known for its portable power stations—products that gave users access to mobile power virtually anywhere, whether for camping, RVs, on-site work, or emergency situations.
The product range has since expanded considerably.
In addition to portable power stations, EcoFlow is now developing solutions for home energy storage, solar panels, smart energy management, portable air conditioning, and various other energy-related applications.
We were able to observe that development up close during our visit to Shenzhen.
A look behind the scenes
During the tour of the headquarters, we gained a more comprehensive understanding of the organization behind EcoFlow and the various teams working on the brand’s further development.
Visits like these are valuable to us. When you’ve been selling a manufacturer’s products for years, you mostly see the end result. In Shenzhen, however, we had the opportunity to look beyond the product that ultimately reaches the customer.
We had in-depth discussions with the EcoFlow team about developments in the energy market, our customers’ experiences, and EcoFlow’s position in the Netherlands and Belgium.
We also discussed how our partnership can continue to evolve in the coming years.
Getting an up-close look at what’s to come
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to get a sneak peek at a new EcoFlow product that will be officially launched soon.
Unfortunately, we can’t say much about the product itself at this time.
What we can say, however, is that our first look left a very positive impression on us. We expect the product to align well with a clear trend we’re currently seeing in the market, and we’re therefore looking forward to the official launch with great interest.
As soon as EcoFlow releases more information, we’ll of course share more about this new solution here on Off Grid Power Station.
Five Years of Collaboration
Precisely because our partnership with EcoFlow dates back to 2021, it was special to reflect during this visit on how much has changed in such a relatively short time.
Products have become more powerful and smarter, battery capacities have increased, and energy storage is becoming relevant to an ever-growing group of consumers and businesses.
At the same time, EcoFlow has grown into an international brand with a much broader product portfolio than it had in its early years.
For Off Grid Power Station, it’s great not only to follow this development as a supplier, but also to have been an integral part of it as a partner for several years now.
On to the next phase
Our visit to Shenzhen was therefore not just an opportunity to get to know EcoFlow’s headquarters. Above all, it was a chance to look back on our partnership since 2021 and, at the same time, look ahead to what’s yet to come.
We appreciate EcoFlow’s ongoing commitment to innovation and the speed with which new ideas are turned into practical energy solutions.
