3-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW of power, with a choice of battery capacities starting at 9 kWh.
The Sigenergy SigenStor 8kW is a powerful and modular energy storage system for households and small-scale commercial applications. The system combines an 8 kW 3-phase hybrid inverter with powerful 9 kWh battery modules. The desired battery capacity can be selected at the time of order, allowing the system to be precisely tailored to the energy needs of the home or business.
The Sigenergy SigenStor was developed for the smart storage and use of solar energy. Excess solar power can be stored in the home battery during the day and used at a later time. In addition, the system can be used in combination with dynamic energy rates, peak shaving, and—with the right configuration—as an emergency power supply.
Thanks to its modular all-in-one design, the hybrid inverter, battery modules, and intelligent Energy Management System work closely together. This creates a complete energy system that is suitable for both current energy needs and future expansion.
The optimal battery capacity depends, among other things, on annual electricity consumption, the output of the solar panels, the amount of energy fed back into the grid, and the presence of larger electrical appliances.
For a home where the primary goal is to shift excess solar power from daytime to evening, a smaller battery configuration may be sufficient. If you have a large solar panel system, a heat pump, an electric car, or high electricity consumption, a larger storage capacity may be a better option.
Using the drop-down menu, you can configure the Sigenergy SigenStor 8kW with your desired battery capacity ranging from 9 to 54 kWh.
Each SigenStor stack can accommodate up to six battery modules. This allows a single system to be configured with a battery capacity ranging from 9 kWh to a maximum of 54 kWh. A smaller configuration can also be expanded later if energy demand increases.
Excess energy generated by solar panels can be stored instead of being fed directly back into the power grid. The stored energy then remains available for times when the solar panels are producing less or no energy.
By using solar energy at a later time, the percentage of self-consumption can be increased. This becomes increasingly attractive as feed-in tariffs decline or the costs of feeding electricity back into the grid rise.
When combined with the Sigenergy Gateway, the system can be configured to provide backup power during a power outage.
Stored energy can be used during periods of high electricity consumption. This helps reduce peak demand on the power grid.
With a dynamic energy contract, inexpensive electricity can be stored for use during peak hours. Intelligent energy management supports the efficient use of available battery capacity.
Thanks to the combination of an 8 kW three-phase inverter and a scalable battery capacity ranging from 9 to 54 kWh, the SigenStor is suitable for single-family homes, larger households, and various small-scale business applications.
A key advantage of the Sigenergy SigenStor 8kW is its modular design. The required battery capacity may change over time. For example, an electric car, a heat pump, or an increase in the number of solar panels could lead to a greater need for energy storage.
By using separate 9-kWh battery modules, the storage capacity can be tailored to the current situation and expanded further at a later date. As a result, a maximum battery configuration is not immediately necessary.
